SUB:- Booking of
traffic at trainload class rate.

Board’s letter of even number dated 28.10.2004
(Rates circular No.46 of 2004)
Instructions have been issued vide Board’s letter of
even number dated 28.10.2004 regarding booking of traffic at trainload
class rate.
The matter has since been reviewed in Board.
It has been decided that the para (ii) and
(iii) of the Board’s letter under reference be substituted by the
following:
“(ii)
Indents for 2-point rakes will be accepted from and to the approved
combination of two points.
(iii) COM/CFTM of the zonal railways may permit booking of a rake from and
to a station/siding which is not notified as a full rake handling
station/siding or a 2-point rake from and to an unapproved two point
combination after consultation with the Traffic Transportation Directorate
of the Railway Board.”
The other provisions contained in the Rates
Circular No.46 of 2004 remain unchanged.
This issues in consultation with Traffic
Transportation and Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.
These instructions will come into force
w.e.f. 15.02.2005.

Issue instructions to all concerned
accordingly and acknowledge receipt of this letter.
