Rates Circular No. 35  of 2005

1.0       In terms of Board’s letter of even number dated  27.01.2003( Rate Circular No 4 of 2003), sanction of Central Government was communicated for grant of 10% rebate in freight for Cement and Chemical Manures Div. ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ loaded in block rakes of open wagons subject to fulfillment of certain terms and conditions stipulated therein.

2.0       In continuation to the above instruction, it has now been decided to enhance the rebate in freight rates for entire groups of Chemical Manures when loaded in BOXN wagons from existing 10% to 30% (Thirty percent).

3.0       All other terms and condition mentioned in the Board’s letter of even number dated  27.01.2003( Rate Circular No 4 of 2003), will continue to apply unchanged.

4.0      These instructions will be effective from 27.06.2005 and will remain valid till further advice.

5.0      This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.

 6.0      Necessary instructions may please be issued to all concerned immediately and  acknowledge receipt of this letter.
