Sub: Registration of indent, allotment and supply of wagons.

Rules 201(1) & 201(2) of  IRCA Goods Tariff No. 41 Pt.1(Vol.1) stipulates the procedure for  registration of demands for supply of wagons etc.  The provisions contained in  Rules 201(1) & 201(2) have been reviewed in Board's office. It has been decided  to modify rules 201(2) of IRCA Goods Tariff No. 41 Pt.1(Vol.1) as under:

           " Rule 201(2) - A Forwarding Note duly filled in should be tendered by the sender at the time of registration of demand for supply of wagons."

            This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.
